Ajax big loser in weekend football
Amsterdam’s Ajax lost 2-0 to FC Utrecht at the weekend, allowing the top two premier division clubs, FC Twente and PSV, to stretch their lead.
Twente beat NEC of Nijmegen 3-4 to hold on to the top spot, while PSV beat FC Waalwijk 2-0, giving it a seven point lead over the Amsterdammers.
