Two wins, one draw, one defeat in Europe

There were mixed fortunes for the four Dutch clubs active in the Europa league on Thursday night.

Amsterdam's Ajax beat Zagreb Dinamo away 2-0. The Amsterdammers are now one point away from qualifying for the knock-out round.

Friesland club Heerenveen had a good start against Berlin side Hertha but lost 2-3 in injury time. The two sides both now have four points from four matches.

PSV Eindhoven managed a second-half equaliser against FC Kopenhagen to take the final score to 1-1 and keep their pole position in group K .

FC Twente beat Moldavian side FC Sherrif 2-1 with the winning goal coming in the 89th minute. Two weeks ago, Twente had its first loss of the season against the Moldovians.
