Psychiatric prison books sex for inmates

Friday 20 November 2009

A psychiatric prison is willing to organise sex for highly-dangerous inmates at its long stay unit, against justice ministry rules, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.

The Pompey clinic is home to a number of murderers who have been sentenced to indefinite psychiatric care.

The paper says prostitutes can be organised via an agency called Flekszorg and provide basic services for €105 and all-in sex therapy for €135. Flekszorg also provides sex workers for people with physical handicaps.

The provision of sex for prisoners came to light during the making of a documentary Longstay which premiers on Friday at the IDFA festival.

The paper says justice ministry officials tried to have passages from the film scrapped. In another scene, an inmate is seen smoking marijuana while another boasts of looking at pornography.

The excerpt from the documentary on the Telegraaf website does not make it clear if the clinic regularly uses prostitutes or has just looked into the possibility.

It just gets more and more bizarre! Obviously there is just too much extra tax money looking for ways to be used. What prostitute would want to have sex with a “highly dangerous inmate”?? What happened to good old fashioned saltpeter in the soup???

Sounds like a really great cure for Long Term depression.

Is there a list of approved crimes so that one can ensure they get to the Long Stay section?

Saltpeter!?

Having once spent 5 years, in prison, in a Catholic run Boarding school, I though it was Bromine they used.

sex with “highly dangerous inmate” The life of the prostitutes will be at risk. They can even kill them in their cells. It is unbelievable. we better give those tax money to the "poor family".

Has anyone seen the double blind, public trial, data on the Quality, Efficiency, and Safety of Treatment published anywhere?

Gerard, i even spent 7 good years in boys Catholic boarding school but it was joy without it.

Kind of reminds me of a film called "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"...

Now to make it more interesting, implant a miniaturized GPS system into the unlucky prostitutes, and tax them according to mileage (P-P-K)
