A man from Apeldoorn was arrested on Thursday in connection with what police said is a ‘serious threat’ against the Deltion college in Zwolle.

Security round the college was stepped up on Thursday because police are taking the telephone threat very seriously, a spokesman said. No further details were given.
The main entrance to the school has since been closed off and pupils have to use a side entrance, where their bags are checked before they are allowed into the building, news agency ANP said.
