Documentary prison sex scene a set up

The scene in a documentary about bringing in prostitutes for long-stay psychiatric prisoners was a set up for the cameras, junior justice minister Nebahat Albayrak said on Tuesday.

The clinic did not order prostitutes for inmates and this would be against the rules, Albayrak said. The scene was invented to generate discussion about long-term inmates and sex, the minister was reported as saying by news agency Novum.
Nevertheless it appears two people serving psychiatric prison terms have paid for ‘sexual services’ over the past two years, the minister said.
The minister said said she was not happy about the documentary and the clinic’s involvement. She has now told all psychiatric prisons that there are ‘limits’ to their dealings with the media.
The Novum report did not say if the documentary makers were aware the discussion was a set up.
