Dead ATM theft suspects are British

The three men killed when their car overturned on the A12 motorway on Friday night shortly after allegedly stealing a cash point machine were all English, police said on Sunday.


The two survivors, who are in hospital, are also English, police said. The three dead are from London and Liverpool, the survivors from Liverpool.
According to news agency Novum, the gang got the machine out of the wall in the town of Driel, southeast of Arnhem, which was fitted with a mechanism causing it to explode and cover the cash with dye. Police gave chase but the men got away in their car.
Around 30 minutes later, the car went out of control on the motorway and flipped over. Several thousand euros with dye on it were found in the car, Novum said.
According to local tv station RTV Utrecht, the car had been stolen in the Netherlands in September
