Recession hits broadcasters' income

The Netherlands' radio and television stations will have 8.6% less income from advertising this year, according to a new report from accountants group PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Both pubic and commercial stations will be hit and it will be 2011 before there is a recovery, the report says.
'Broadcasters will be forced to cut costs and develop new ways of earning money,' PWC researcher John Middelweerd told Nos tv.
