Friday 30 October 2009
Chinese companies have signed deals to invest almost €700m in the Netherlands at the end of a two-day conference in Rotterdam, Nos tv reports on Friday.
The biggest contract, worth €300m, is from a Chinese property developer which wants to invest in the Hague. Other sectors to attract Chinese interest are clean energy and shipbuilding, Nos said.
The conference was organised by one of China's biggest employers organisations which now plans to open a representative office in the country.
