UN court spokeswoman fined for contempt

A former spokeswoman for the Yugoslavia tribunal in the Hague has been fined €7,000 for contempt of court after being found guilty of disclosing the existence of confidential documents on Serbian government involvement in the Bosnian war of the 1990s, the BBC reports.


Florence Hartmann, who was spokeswoman for chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte from 2000 to 2006, wrote a book and several articles about her work after leaving.
