Holland’s oldest resident turns 112

The Netherlands’ oldest resident is set to turn 112 on Saturday and plans a quiet celebration at home with her family.


Grietje Jansen-Anker lived alone until she turned 102 and now lives in a care home in Rotterdam with one of her daughters, the Telegraaf reports. She was born in Vlissingen on September 12, 1897.
