Veldhuis wins bronze for 50m freestyle
Marleen Veldhuis won the bronze medal in the 50 metre freestyle on the last day of the swimming world championships in Rome on Sunday.
The 30-year-old from Twente was one of the Dutch women’s 4×100 metre relay team to take the gold medal on the opening day of the competition.
