Strong winds forecast for the afternoon
The KNMI weather bureau is warning that large parts of the country could be hit by winds of up to 110 kph this afternoon as the tropical temperatures give way to a severe storm.
The storm is expected to break in the south west of the country by early afternoon and move inland. Rain and wind may also be accompanied by hailstorms, the KNMI said.
