'Reply this month on cost of immigration'

The cabinet will try to answer questions from the anti-immigration PVV party on the cost of non-western immigrants this month, reports website Nu.nl.
The cabinet said earlier this week it would discuss how to tackle this sensitive political issue at Friday's meeting.
‘We want to reply quickly and clearly,’ Nu.nl quotes integration minister Eberhard van der Laan as saying after Friday’s meeting.
‘We accept the limitations that a fast reply brings with it. You could spend years studying the situation,’ he added.
Van der Laan also said that the cabinet will focus on what the government’s immigration policy has cost and what it has delivered. It does not intend to talk about ‘how much people cost’ reports Nu.nl.
The government is obliged to answer questions from MPs. In total Geert Wilders' PVV party has submitted almost 80 questions about how much immigrants cost the Netherlands to almost all government ministries.

Think the Dutch, you are looting in Nigeria, Arab countries... Think of shell, philips, uniliver...I don't think that you even survive as a nation unless you depend on the market of foreign countries. If all the blacks, arabs and the rest of the world conspire not to buy your products, which is most likely if wilders come to power, then you can no more enjoy , your luxurious life. Don't forget that when you were in poverty in the 1940s , you even received food aid from Ethiopia. The world helped you in your hour of need; now when the people who fled persecution in their country come to you and ask you for shelter, you opted to close your doors. Don't rely on your wealth alone, you never know what will happen tomorrow. You may need the people of the world.
By s | 14 August 2009 6:45 PMCan we see the 80 questions about how much immigrants cost please? My guess is that even the list is so skewed that it is not worth the paper it is published on, but still, I would like to see it. Probably us immigrants have a list of questions for Geert Wilder's also!
