Public campaign on swine flu, 900 cases

The government will shortly send households a brochure about swine flu, explaining what steps are being taken by the authorities to tackle the virus and what the public themselves can do, reports Friday’s NRC.

Meanwhile the cases of swine flu in the Netherlands have now reached over 900, the paper reports. Some 75% of them contracted the virus abroad, most frequently in Spain, says the NRC.
The latest news on swine flu was announced at a press conference by the health ministry on Friday.
Earlier this week a 17-year-old boy became the first person in Holland to die from swine flu.
