Fourteen Dutch drugs couriers have been arrested in an Italian police investigation into an international cocaine-smuggling gang, news agency ANP reports.

The couriers brought the drug hidden in double-bottomed suitcases from Argentina to Belgium and the Netherlands via Italy. The arrests took place over a seven month period.
In total, 55 kgs of cocaine were seized with an estimated street value of €20m, ANP said.
