Dutch find treasure on Chilean ship

Dutch firms have discovered gold and silver worth €15m in a sunken Chilean ship off the Argentinian coast, reports broadcaster Nos on Wednesday.

The ship sunk during a heavy storm earlier this year and was located in 80 metre deep water on the bed of the Atlantic Ocean sea by four workers of the Den Helder-based firm Bluestream Offshore working with Rotterdam’s Mammoet Salvage.
The gold and silver weighs almost 10,000 kgs and is to be sent to Switzerland, its original destination.
