TV presentor banned from Gay Pride boat

Orthodox Christian television station EO has banned presenter Manuel Venderbos from attending this year's Gay Pride procession in a boat sailing under a gay Christian flag.

The EO said in a statement to news agency ANP it wanted to use its own methods to generate discussion in 'sensitive issues' such as homosexuality among Christians.

The presenter had wanted to accept the invitation but turned it down after discussing it with his employers.

Earlier this year, EO presenter Arie Boomsma was suspended for posing for magazine L'homo.
