Benno L was arrested last month on suspicion of indecently assaulting almost 100 girls. Thousands of photographs were found on digital cameras and computers at his home in Den Bosch.
On Wednesday, L was remanded in custody until September 18. Police expect the investigation to take a further three or four months.
Earlier this month, L’s lawyer said the case had been blown out of all proportion.
