Jakarta bomb killed Dutch couple, official

The Dutch foreign affairs ministry has confirmed that a Dutch couple missing after the suicide bombings in Jakarta earlier this month were both killed in the attack.

The man and woman, whose names have not been made public, were staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel at the time of the attack.
Foreign affairs minister Maxime Verhagen, who has been in touch with the victims’ families, condemned the bombings as ‘unjustifiable, cowardly [act of] violence against innocent citizens’.
Nine people died in the attacks and 55 were injured including three Dutch citizens.
