Illegal CD gang rounded up

Eight people, including four members of the same family, were arrested on Saturday as part of an investigation into a major CD and DVD forgery ring.

The eight were arrested at a market in the Zuid-Holland village of Heinenoord where they were selling their wares, news agency ANP said. Two of those arrested were a boy aged 16 and 14-year-old girl.
Police seized 15,000 illegal CDs and DVDs at the market and a similar quantity at the home of one of the suspects. They also seized copying equipment, three mopeds and a ‘considerable’ amount of cash.
