Missing banker found dead in woods

Missing Dutch banker Huibert Boumeester was found shot dead in woods in Berkshire, England at the weekend, according to British media reports.

Boumeester (49) is believed to have shot himself in the head. He went missing last Monday and was said by some to have been depressed after losing his job.
Boumeester was CFO at ABN Amro during its disastrous €72bn takeover by Royal Bank of Scotland and two other banks. He has been described by Dutch papers as extremely well respected.
One source told the Daily Mail: ‘There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. It is a terrible tragedy, possibly borne out of the credit crunch.’
