Video footage showing Dutch FARC guerrilla Tanja Nijmeijer acting as an interpreter in 2003 has been obtained by the Dutch world service.

The recording shows Nijmeijer interpreting between Colombian guerrilla leaders and three US hostages and has been authenticated by the US authorities, the world service says.
Nothing has been heard from the young woman from Groningen since her diaries were found in a jungle clearing and published in 2007.
It is not clear if the hostages are the same men who referred to Nijmeijer in a book about their experiences.
