Online book shop Bol.com in Dutch hands

Investment house Cyrte, owned by tv production tycoon John de Mol, is to buy online book and record store Bol.com.
Bol.com booked sales of €224m last year, a 30% increase on 2007. The website claims 80 million visitors a year and some two million actual customers.
Bol.com was owned by two German investors. Although the company had expanded into other territories, only the Dutch arm has been successful, the NRC reports. Bol.com will now focus on Dutch-speaking countries.
Financial details were not disclosed.
