Mathilde beats Máxima as popular princess

Princess Máxima, wife of crown prince Willem-Alexander, is the second most popular princess in Europe, according to French magazine Point de Vue.

Máxima took 21% of the vote in a readers’ poll. The winner is princess Mathilde of Belgium, who took nearly 48% of the vote.
The Dutch queen Beatrix did not make it onto the list of most popular monarchs, the Telegraaf reports.
