Van Lanschot to cut 150 jobs

Private banking group Van Lanschot announced on Friday it is to scrap 150 jobs in 2009. The bank saw its profits fall in 2008 by 24%, to €493.5m.


Earlier this month, CEO Floris Deckers was the first Dutch banker to apologise for the role the banks played in the current economic crisis.
