Staffing agency Brunel increases earnings

Staffing agency Brunel booked a 23% increase in both net profit and turnover in 2008, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

But Amsterdam-based Brunel declined to make a forecast for 2009.
Earnings rose to €45.6m while turnover reached €714m.
According to news agency ANP, Brunel said the increase in turnover was largely driven by its energy sector operations, which account for some 50% of sales.
