ING returned bonuses kept secret
Tuesday 24 March 2009
Financial services group ING will not publish any information about how many senior managers are prepared to hand back their 2008 bonuses, a spokesman said on Tuesday.
On Monday, CEO Jan Hommen made a 'moral appeal' to senior staff to hand back the money.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the ING works council said the 200 managers in the Netherlands feel put out by Hommen's appeal which contravenes existing agreements.

Here's a dirty little secret: Which bank that we ALL own (it cost us dutch taxpayers some $23.2 billion recently) thought it would be a good idea to take its dutch-based marketing department on a 7-day bonding session/skiing vacation last week? We should ask them if they enjoyed it - after all, we did pay for it.
