Danish liberal party to block Wilders inviteWednesday 25 March 2009 Denmark's Liberal Alliance party wants to block an invitation to Dutch anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders to attend a conference on the freedom of speech, Danish newspaper Politiken reports on Wednesday. 'We don't want to make this conference a freak show, to which we simply call in those who can create the most trouble on the streets,' the paper quotes party chairman Anders Samuelsen as saying. The Liberal Alliance and Danish People's Party are joint organisers of the conference, the paper says. But the People's Party does want to invite Wilders, who was recently banned from Britain because of his outspoken statements on Islam and Muslims. © DutchNews.nl
So the Danish Liberal Alliance Party leader, Anders Samuelson, thought that by inviting Geert Wilders to attend would turn their “conference into some sort of freak show”? If Mr Wilders had been Muslim instead of Catholic then I’m fairly sure Mr Samuelson would now be facing trial for hate speech! He goes on to say how much he supports freedom of speech in Denmark yet clearly doesn’t want his colleagues to get away with inviting Mr Wilders to discuss it freely with them! Speaking of freedom of speech in the context of our loss of it thanks to the rise in the West of Islam, I’ve been invited to give a live “phone and blog-in” interview on this and related subjects in a few days time (27th March) on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/the-gathering-storm To see an announcement about the show please take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyEiVvWKHdg Kind Regards, By Al Rassooli (author of “Lifting the Veil: The True Faces of Muhammad and Islam”) | March 25, 2009 7:53 PM

I think that preventing MP Geert Wilders from attending would be a direct violation of human rights and free speech.
MP Geert Wilders only cares about his country and people. The murder of Theo van Gouh should have been a wakeup call for the Netherlands.
After all britain already has Sharia Law in some places.
