TomTom rejects Microsoft patent claim

Satellite navigation system maker TomTom said on Thursday it rejected claims from Microsoft that it had infringed eight of its patents, Dow Jones newswire reported.

On Wednesday, Microsoft filed claims against TomTom in Washington and with the International Trade Commission. Microsoft wants damages and a permanent injunction against TomTom, Dow Jones said.
