Suspected meteorite hits balcony

A suspected meteorite has hit a balcony in the Brabant city of Eindhoven on Wednesday night, the Telegraaf reports.

The impact from the 100-gramme stone broke a window and startled inhabitant Ed van den Akker who claims to have heard ‘an almighty bang’.

I have seen high resolution pictures of the object and can say with certainty that it is *not* a meteorite. It looks like bits of flint in a grey/brown matrix, probably weathered concrete or cement.
