Former professional tennis player Mark Koevermans has been named as the new commercial director of Rotterdam football club Feyenoord and will start his new job on April 1.
‘This is a dream come true,’ says Koevermans on the club’s website, adding that he is a life-long supporter of the club. He replaces Chris Woerts who stepped down in November.
Earlier this week trainer Gertjan Verbeek, technical director Peter Bosz and assitant trainer Wim Jansen announced their departure from Feyenoord which is currently languishing just above the relegation zone of the premier division.
