Choreographer Kylian given royal honour
Czech choreographer Jiri Kylian has been awarded a medal of honour by queen Beatrix for his work in developing the Nederlands Dans Theater into ‘one of the best modern dance groups in the world’, NOS tv reports.
In 2005, Kylian choreographed a special ballet for the queen’s 25th jubilee, based on her hats.
