Solar power firm is fastest grower

Heerlen-based Solland Solar Energy has won the Financieele Dagblad’s new award for fastest growing company in the country’s small and medium sized business sector.
Solland Solar tops the FD Gazellen 100 with a turnover increase of 2819% in the period 2005 to 2007.
The awards, which include a large number prizes in different categories, also booked a first this year because one of the nominees, Egelie Projectbureau (shop interiors) in Uden, was declared bankrupt earlier this month, the paper reports.
