One in seven workers is a ‘boss’

One million of the seven million people who work are in charge of five or more people, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.

Women account for one in 10 leaders and men one in five, a balance which is virtually unchanged since 2001.
Women are less likely to work in positions of authority because they often work part-time, the CBS says.
