Inflation back under 3% in October

Inflation fell to 2.8% last month from 3.1% in September, reports the national statistics office CBS on Thursday. The decrease is largely due to sharply lower petrol prices, the CBS said.


Petrol was 8.8% cheaper in October than the preceding month, representing the biggest drop in 30 years, said the CBS.
