Discount for using public transport card

Travellers who use the new public transport electronic pass in Rotterdam will be rewarded with a 35% discount on bus, tram and metro fares in January, reports ANP news service.
The aim is to stimulate the use of the new card when it is introduced at the beginning of the month, says local public transport firm RET. The card will be compulsory on the city’s metro from January 29.
