North Sea rig evacuated

Coastguards rescued 175 people from an oil rig in the North Sea after a ship with engine problems threatened to ram it, reports the AD newspaper.


The Panamanian ship Ice Flowers was being blown towards the platform 80 km northwest of Den Helder by strong winds and currents.
