FC Groningen still top football league

FC Groningen remain at the top of the football premier league after beating ADO Den Haag 3-0 on Sunday.

Groningen have 13 points, one more than reigning champions PSV of Eindhoven, who easily beat De Graafschap of Doetinchem 3-0 on Saturday.

NAC Breda stay in third place, winning 4-2 away to FC Volendam on Sunday.

Amsterdam’s Ajax are six points off the lead, after suffering a humiliating 5-2 defeat at SC Heerenveen on Sunday. Rotterdam’s Feyenoord meanwhile slumped to their third defeat in a row, losing 2-0 at home to NEC of Nijmegen on Sunday.
