Road hogs must pay for driving course

Road hogs who drive too fast, overtake on the inside lane or stick to the bumper of the car in front face having to pay €750 for a three-day course in driving skills under a new government scheme launched today.

Drivers who do not turn up for the course will lose their licence.

Drunk drivers will also have to pay €350 for a course on the dangers of drinking and driving.
