Europe’s most leaning tower is Dutch

A 12th century building in the Dutch town of Bedum leans more sharply than Italy’s famous tower of Pisa, according to Dutch geometrician Jacob van Dijk, reports news agency Reuters.


Although much shorter, the tower on the Walfridus church has a proportionally greater tilt (6.06 metres) than the Pisa tower (6 metres), Van Dijk claims.
