Heerenveen defender Gianni Zuiverloon is to move to newly-promoted premier division side West Bromwich Albion on a three-year contract for €4m.

Zuiverloon was under contract to the Friesian club until 2010. He was part of the under-21 squad which took the European title in 2007.
And according to Voetbal International magazine, Ajax is after Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. The 26-year-old, who plays for Spartak Moscow, was top scorer in the Russian competition for the past two years.
