Verhagen picks diplomacy over Wilders
Wednesday 02 July 2008
Foreign affairs minister Maxime Verhagen will use diplomatic channels, not the public arena, to deal with Jordan's plans to take legal action against MP Geert Wilders for his anti-Islam film Fitna, NOS tv reports on Wednesday.
In addition, the minister has advised Wilders to be quiet about the case. On Monday the anti-immigration MP accused Jordan of being a 'banana republic' and urged Verhagen to make a public protest.

the dutch are a race of whimps for not standing up to jordan. the eu should threaten economic sanctions, but we all know the eu is run by pro-islam, pro-immigration forces. what is the western world turning into? all this politically correct fascism, just to please a rabble of self loathing letfists who hate being white, and a bunch of third world foreigners who should never have been let in to europe in the first place. very sad.
