Rood Technology seals major takeover

Computer chip testing company Rood Technology said on Saturday it had reached agreement on a major takeover, but declined to give further details.

In February, company chairman Philip Nijenhuis said the takeover would add 45% to group turnover.

A planned trading update was delayed because no deal had yet been reached. Rood turned over €9.5m last year.
