Two killed by manure fumes

Two men have been killed by fumes while working with manure on a farm in Friesland, police confirmed on Monday.

Police said a large cloud of ammonia and carbon monoxide was released while the manure was being prepared for spraying onto land by the village of Sint Nicolaasga.
The two, a 61-year-old man and his 33-year-old son-in-law were found early this morning by a man delivering bull sperm. He too was taken to hospital but is out of danger.
