Schiphol second to Heathrow in costs

The introduction of a new flight tax on short and long haul flights originating in the Netherlands in July will make Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport the second most expensive in Europe after London’s Heathrow, according to transport ministry research.


Last year, Schiphol was in fifth place in a ministry survey of Europe’s nine biggest airports.
