Foresters want to reintroduce wolves
Tuesday 08 April 2008
The forestry commission announced on Tuesday that it would like to release wolves, wild boar and European bison into the Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve in Flevoland.
According to ecologist Frans Vera in the Volkskrant, wolves belong in the area and cannot be reintroduced quickly enough. 'I don't expect it to happen in the short-term,' he told the paper. 'Fairy tales have given the wolf a bad reputation.'

Be careful. The wolf has earned its bad reputation over centuries. Just as a starter. 1810-11 at the rivers Rhen and Mas. 14 children attacked, 11 died. The wolves and their prey must be carefully managed. And don't lie to the people living in the area and its vicinity.
