DSM raises earnings forecast

Chemicals company DSM says it expects first quarter operational earnings to be 20% higher than the same 2007 period.

The company says continuing strong demand and high prices have led to the increased earnings forecast for Q1, which will be published on April 29.

DSM has also increased its full-year forecast.
