Air France-KLM may raise fuel surcharge
Wednesday 26 March 2008
Air France-KLM may increase its fuel surcharge again according to its operational director Pierre-Henri Gourgeon, reports ANP news service.
‘The fuel surcharge is still based on an oil price of $90 a barrel,’ he is quoted as saying in an interview with the French newspaper Les Echos.
On Wedesday morning the cost of a barrel of crude oil was over $101 says ANP. In January the airline raised the fuel surcharge to €88 for intercontinental flights because of higher kerosine prices.
