Martinair faces claim over delays

A company calling itself EU Claim is claiming damages on behalf of 37 Martinair plane passengers whose flight between Amsterdam and Canadian city Calgary was delayed for over 24 hours last year.

The organisation says each ticket-holder is entitled to compensation of €600 under EU rules.
Martinair says the delay was beyond its control, but EU Claim says it shows a structural problem at the airline. EU Claim represents passengers on a commercial basis.
