Boskalis to press ahead with Smit terminals bid
A consortium made up of Dutch dredging group Boskalis and Saudi firm Rexayat said on Tuesday they would pursue a merger with the terminals division of Smit Internationale.
Smit earlier rejected the $300m cash offer. Smit’s executive and supervisory boards dismissed the bid, saying it was not in the company’s best interests.
